Meet the Neisch Family

Michael, my husband, has been encouraging me to start blogging, but I have no idea what I should write about. So I though I would would just start by letting you know about my little family!

Michael and I are high school sweethearts. We dated for 5 and a half years before tying the knot on August 28th, 2011 in Salado, Texas. It was the best day of my life and was filled with family, friends, and plenty of love. I married my best friend and together we have started a sweet little family.
Here is a picture from our wedding day. We were married at Tenroc Ranch in Salado and absolutely loved it there. It was perfect and the ranch is surrounded by beautiful scenery which led to beautiful pictures.
Here is a picture from our 3 week honeymoon we took! We did a 14 day cruise through Alaska and spent extra days at the front and back of the trip. We started in Vancouver and ended in San Diego. We loved every second of it. Michael is now convinced he wants to live there for at least a year but we will see about that. We had the best weather ever for the time of year we were there, not a single day of rain which is unheard of in September. We hiked, fished, mountain biked, whale watched, toured, shopped, and enjoyed everything about being in Alaska! It was the best trip I could have ever asked for! Here is a picture of our 13 mile hike to Mendenhall Glacier! After getting lost for about 8 miles we finally made it and it was too amazing for a picture to do it justice. If you ever want to go to Alaska, DO IT!! You will not regret it! We can not wait to go back!
Meet Samson! We got him in July 2009 from our good friends Cole and Chelsea. We were able to pick him out at 4.5 weeks which is when this picture was taken. He has turned out to be the best dog we could have asked for. When we started looking for dogs it did not take us long to decide on a chocolate lab and the name Samson came even faster. Luckily he never destroyed anything, I know crazy since he is a lab, but he only played with his toys and soon became obsessed with tennis balls. He has been basically our first child and has loved all the attention.
This is Samson now. He is 2 years and 2 months old. He is still the best dog we could even imagine! We are truly lucky to have him! He is his dad's side kick. With anything Michael does, Samson is next to him wishing he had thumbs in order to help him. I joke about getting him a tool belt to help Michael when he is doing things around the house.
On the flip side, meet Bella! We got her in January 2011. She is the newest Neisch and is the complete opposite of Samson but she is a sweetheart! When we decided to get another puppy I knew immediately it was going to be a chocolate lab so Samson could have a girlfriend! We will see later if that happens :] She is full of energy 24/7 and is attached at the hip to Samson at all times, even when he does not want her there. She always has a toy in her mouth and is very talkative. She seems to always have something to say!
This is Bella now. She is 7.5 months old and is a swimming machine. Samson and Bella go to the lake about 3 to 4 times a week and to them that is not enough. Both of them love it and will fetch all day if they had the option. As she gets older she is just more curious than the next day. Lately she seems to find trouble as much as possible, which has not been a good thing for Michael sadly. But other than that she is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and give kisses!
They love each other! And notice the purple toy next to Bella, like I said, always has a toy! This picture was taken when we got home form the lake and it was time for a nap. They were sleepy puppies!

So now you know the Neisch family! Michael is a grad student at Texas A&M studying aquatic ecology and I am a medical records filer for an injury law firm in downtown Bryan. We are both Texas A&M grads and love life in the B/CS. We have actually lived in College Station for 5 years now (well Michael, 4 for me) and time sure has flown by. It is crazy to think that next year when Michael graduates we may leave this place that has so many wonderful memories, but maybe we wont, our future still has so many question marks, but that is what makes life great!
